"This place is a hidden gem! The ladies behind the counter are the loveliest and serve up a great meal. They always have fresh hot food ready to go. I've had almost everything on the menu and it's the best everytime. My favourite is the curried chicken and stewed chicken. Omg so good! It's reasonably priced and portions are a good value. The atmosphere can be little updated but with food so good, I have nothing bad' to say. I overlooked it. Friendly,fast and great service. I'm definitely going to return to Jerk Box. Big fan!!"

"First time experience on lunch from work. Got a pound of jerk. Excellent. Ive had several others in the area but this one had tenderness and moisture with a crisp skin. Flavor was hitting with a perfect amount of spice at the same time."

"Legit awesome tasting jerk chicken with oxtail gravy. Amazing value for only $13 total for the large. Super friendly lady. Came all the way from Oshawa area for this. will definitely hit up again Whenever I’m in this area."

"Had an amazing experience! The service was excellent from start to finish. We were helped by Moesha Natalie, and Aunty Debbie served us, she was incredibly pleasant and warmly recommended the soup of the day, which turned out to be absolutely delicious. The food was fresh, tasty, and full of flavor. Prices were also great. I’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you for the delicious food and wonderful customer service!"

"We had lunch from The Jerk Box today and it was absolutely fantastic! The rice and jerk chicken were fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Every bite was packed with authentic Jamaican taste that left us wanting more. We especially loved the oxtail gravy—it was rich, savory, and the perfect compliment to the meal. The portions were generous (medium size) and you could really tell that quality ingredients and care went into every dish. For the quality, this food is a great value and very affordable. Friendly staff, quick service, and amazing food make this a spot we will definitely return to. Highly recommend it for anyone craving tasty, comforting Jamaican cuisine!"
